The KRN devices under development, presently represented in the lab by Sled 1.
KRN distinguishes between the Herald receiver and Field Station transmitter. Their dedicated hardware is still in development; for now, each exists as role-specific firmware running on a Sled 1 board.
Sled 1 provides the shared radio, processor, display, controls, and test access needed to exercise both sides of the network. One board runs one role at a time.
